Alex grabbed her Poketch off the table and ran out the door, barely registering what her mother had yelled out behind her.

"Remember, if Professor Confusion wants you to do something eccentric again, don't do it! Remember what happened last time?"

Alex blindly answered with the standard "Yes, okay!" and ran out the door. Some of Professor Confusion's errands were quite exciting and for that matter, interesting. Once around every month he called her to do something, and she always enjoyed it, no matter what the outcome. Alex ran to the lab, flinging the door open and not bothering to shut it.

"Oh you're here! What on earth took you so incredibly long?"

"Mum thinks that your crazy errands have gone too far." Alex said, grinning. "But I don't, I like your crazy errands. What do you want me to do this time?"

"Well, I would like you to take this critter to the next town over for some tests. Here, see for yourself."

With a flash of light, a Ralts popped out of the Pokeball. But this wasn't just any Ralts; this one had a unique shine to it and had a blue head instead of a green one.

"Wow... I thought Ralts only came with green heads!" Alex exclaimed to Professor Confusion.

Alex returned the Ralts to it's Pokeball so it didn't decide to make a break for it the moment she got outside. Looking over to the forest-like entrance to Route 501, there was a sign.

Alex briefly wondered why all of the towns in the region of Yrautnec were named so oddly, but discarded the thought immediately as she saw the bushes ruffle.

"What was that...?" she asked to herself as the bush immediately became still.
